Storms can knock gutters out of their original alignment, so walk around your roof to tighten your gutters back into place. A gutter’s main function is to divert water away from the house. Having them tightened and properly aligned will prevent water damage to your house. After spring, so many leaves, twigs, and seeds fall into your gutters and downspouts. Grab a pair of work gloves and clean out any clogs or sprouts. To test if you’ve gotten all the clogs out, run water down the gutters to ensure that it flows properly without stops.
