- Metal – Considered one of the strongest materials, metal roofs are thought to be one of the most durable roof material options. Typically made of aluminum or steel, metal roofs can be more costly than synthetic roofing materials, but you will get your money's worth with metal's durability. Metal roofs also compliment the copper, titanium, and zinc that are often used in some specialized architecture for homes throughout the Front Range.
- PVC – Most often used in commercial buildings, PVC is the best long-term solution to your roofing needs. PVC is made of thick and flexible UV-resistant thermoplastic material. They can also contain polyester, fiberglass, resins, plasticizers, pigments, or other chemicals.
- Composite or Synthetic – Synthetic roofs are made to look like real tiles and are usually more environmentally friendly and energy efficient (ideal for the green Colorado lifestyle). They are almost indistinguishable from real wood or slate, and their manufacturers have created a very strong track record for their dependability and durability.
- Modified Bitumen – Typically, these roofs are two-ply and applied in rolls overlapping the edge of the previous roll. Modified bitumen is usually used on flat surfaces, making them ideal for commercial buildings and properties as opposed to residential. Depending on the exact material used, these roofs are installed with either asphalts, cold adhesives, or a torch method.
